Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk
Plant walks are for the curious as well as the beginner and those who are more advanced. These walks are more of a slow stop & go as we explore the local plants - identification as well as how we might want to work with them as food and/or medicine.

About the event
Are you someone who is simply curious about the plants that grow all around you - in your local parks or even in your backyard?
Maybe you are someone who knows some of the most common plants (or "weeds") but you are interested in learning about more plants and also learn about how you might be able to work with them..
Or, maybe you are well versed in the identification of many local plants but are desiring to learn more about how to work with them as food and/or medicine..
Regardless of which you may find yourself in, these plant walks are for you!
During these 90 minute plant walks, we don't necessarily cover a lot of distance but we will cover many plants and a lot of interesting, fun, and useful information regarding the plants we come across. With each plant, we will discuss proper identification as well as ways to work with it as food and/or medicine. And, because I am a practicing herbalist who works one-on-one with folks experiencing a wide variety of health concerns, you will also get to hear some testimonials and stories of the plants "in action".
Each and every plant walk will vary one to the next - depending on the plants we come across as well as the questions and curiosities of those participating. You are welcome to join along one plant walk, all of them, or somewhere between.
