Thinking of Minneapolis ~ Lise Wolff

Last night, Lise Wolff, a dear friend and mentor who lives in South Minneapolis, reached out asking if I would be willing to share the message she sent to me. Lise is an incredible and caring person / herbalist who you simply won't find on social media or the like.
That is where I can come in to help spread the word - at least a little further.
Lise's Message:
"I missed sending last month's newsletter because I just couldn't stomach the idea of promoting any of my classes. Living in South Minneapolis, it feels self indulgent to think about my business and selling classes. And honestly, businesses generally want to keep out of politics. But this time I just can't. Living just a couple of miles from where Rene Good and Alex Pretti were killed, it is hard to think about anything other than the large black vehicles cruising our streets, stopping anybody who doesn't look of European decent. That has left me with an intense need to act. It's taken everyone a little bit to figure out where they fit in and what skill sets they can share. Herbalism and flower essence remedies (consultations) for individuals are my super power and fairly unique. Since I've been practicing and teaching these subjects for 32 years, I'm now prioritizing care for people who are scared, traumatized, sick, waking with dread, burnt out, tired, can't sleep, feeling guilty about doing anything other than work hard for their communities as well as for those who feel scared, guilty and depressed over not being able to take care of their families because it isn't safe to go to work or shop for groceries.
I went into a community last night, with a student, and we doctored a roomful of people. This experience thrust the question of how can I help even more, to the fore. Herbal folks have talked about how to give herbs to people who need them now. Still, from the beginning I have said that in the hierarchy of needs, food and shelter are the top priority. So here is my proposal....
If you've been thinking about/ interested in taking any of my online classes, whether a $35 dollar medicinal bark class or my $3000 Year-Long Herb Program, Three Seasons of Herbal Wisdom, I would like you to donate all money you would pay for the class to the gofundme site for the Phillips Neighborhood in South Minneapolis. If you donate the published price of the class to the site by March 1st, with your name attached, and then send me an email showing you donated money equal to the cost of any class you choose, I will enroll you directly in that class, at no charge from me.
Do a good deed and get some good information about plant medicine (and flower essences). Access to the courses lasts for years, so if you can't concentrate right now, the class will await, but the donation will be on the way to help people in desperate need. Please find more information about the Phillips Neighborhood below.

I am grateful to you and hope you will pass this information along to others you think might be interested.

I can't agree more with Lise in that Food and Shelter are priority for these individuals and families being impacted. This is a generous and kind act for Lise to offer her herbal courses for free if it means her community is tended to. She is a wealth of knowledge, experience, and care. I promise you won't be disappointed if you partake in this proposal.
Be well,
